FAQs

What are the differences between your 2023 and 2024 Obesity: Etiology, Prevention, and Treatment courses?

Our 2023 course centered around new pharmacological options in obesity medicine, while the 2024 course focuses on managing the side effects and new treatment care plans that come with these options. The 2024 course includes traditional lectures and four one-and-a-half-hour case management sessions to assist participants in comprehending complex case management.

Our 2023 course was three days. Our 2024 course is four days, with a separate live remote exam review day in early September.

Will the 2024 Obesity: Etiology, Prevention, and Treatment course be available on-demand?

An on-demand version of this course will be available approximately one month after the live event, and package options will be offered like our on-demand 2023 courses.

What is the difference between your live and on-demand courses?

Live courses are conducted in real-time, allowing participants to engage in a Q&A session with the lecturers. Participants must claim CME credit within 30 days of the course end date. Course materials, including video lectures and associated PDFs, are available for participants to complete their review and claim credit. For study purposes, we provide online video access for 36 months after the course ends.

Our on-demand courses include pre-recorded lectures, corresponding lecture PDFs, and self-assessment questions to help you monitor your learning progress. You can review the lectures at your convenience and pace. It's essential to complete the course material review, take the quiz and evaluation, and claim CME credit before the course expiration date. The course materials will be available to those who completed the course for at least three years after course registration closes.
