Class of 2025 Orientation
Columbia’s Institute of Human Nutrition welcomed the MS in Human Nutrition Class of 2025 with a week of orientation activities marking the start of the new academic year.
Throughout orientation, new MS students had the opportunity to meet classmates, connect with faculty and staff, and become familiar with the resources that will support them during their time at IHN. The week began with a lunchtime reception and concluded with an evening social, giving students space to build early connections before coursework fully began.
For students entering an intensive graduate program, orientation is an important first step. It helps introduce the academic expectations of the MS experience while also creating a sense of belonging within the IHN and CUIMC communities.
As the Class of 2025 begins the year, orientation offered a welcoming start to a program shaped by rigorous study, student support, and the relationships students build along the way.
