IHN Department Administrator Maria Neagoe Receives 2025 CUIMC Baton Award

The Institute of Human Nutrition is delighted to announce that Maria Neagoe, Department Administrator, has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 CUIMC Baton Award—one of the medical center’s most meaningful recognitions of staff excellence. 

The Baton Awards honor Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) administrators who consistently demonstrate exceptional teamwork, collaboration, and reliability. Awardees are recognized for “carrying the baton” when challenges arise—supporting colleagues, strengthening cross-departmental connections, and ensuring the success of the entire CUIMC community.
