On-Demand Courses

All of our on-demand courses provide Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits, as well as credits for the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) and the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) programs.

Starting in 2024, our courses will offer credit towards the CME and Self-Assessment requirements of the American Board of Surgery's Continuous Certification program. 

Columbia Cornell Obesity Medicine is an American Board of Obesity Medicine partner organization. Our courses are classified as ABOM-designated GROUP ONE credits.

2023 Three-Course Package, over 60 CME credits

Our three-course package totals 69.5 hours of activity, satisfying the American Board of Obesity Medicine requirement of at least 60 hours of CME credit on the topic of obesity. This course package satisfies the CME requirement needed to sit for the obesity medicine board certification exam.

2024 Course Packages - Coming in June 2024!

  • A two-course, 60+ credit package will be available in June 2024, consisting of the 2024 Obesity: Etiology, Prevention, and Treatment course and Additional Topics for Advanced Study course. The package will follow our May 1-4 live event.
  • Starting from October 2024, we will offer our 2024 comprehensive three-course, 60+ credit package. The package will include our 2024 Obesity: Etiology, Prevention, and Treatment course, our Additional Topics for Advanced Study course, and our 2024 Review for the Obesity Certification Exam course. This package will be made available after our live Review for the Obesity Certification Exam event in September 2024.
  • A two-course package of 30+ credits will be available in October 2024, including our 2024 Obesity: Etiology, Prevention, and Treatment course and our 2024 Review for the Obesity Certification Exam, following our live review event in September 2024.

Our On-Demand Course Platform

Follow these steps to return to your content and/or claim your CME

  1. Sign In to the platform.
  2. Navigate to the My Account tab using the top navigation menu. 
  3. Scroll down to your course of interest. 
  4. For Incomplete Courses
    1. Click Resume
    2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
    3. Check the box and hit Continue to return to the course materials. 
    4. Once you have completed the course material, scroll to the bottom of the Course Material page and click Continue to proceed to the post-test and evaluation. 
  5. For Completed Courses
    1. Select the Review button next to the course to review course content
    2. Under the Materials header, click the linked Content text to review course content.
  6. To view and download your certificate, click the Certificate button. 

To claim CME credits for ABOM, choose the Enduring Activity for Physicians option when you reach the credit-claiming step.
